Zoe Shahaf is an independent travel consultant, writer, and speaker of travel matters. As a consultant, she whips projects into shape by focusing on travel objectives, designing effective itineraries, and applying her meticulous organizational skills. She has fun, makes new friends on every project, but mainly gets things done.
Quite a few years ago, a good friend dared her to fill out a Flight Attendant application just so that she could accompany her to the interview. Zoe was still in college but remembered an experience she had at the age of 5 when a Pan Am flight attendant placed a hat on her and asked if she was sure that’s what Zoe would become one day. Her interviews with Eastern Airlines went great and she was hired by, but sadly not her friend. Later, she went on to work for TWA in New York and worked both at the reservation center as well as JFK Airport. That was followed with 10 years with British Airways who she credits for teaching her the value of a customer. She has lived in several places in the U.S. as well as abroad and has traveled extensively in 5 continents.
The founder of Best Travel Club, her specialties are family travel and plastic surgery tours in different areas of the world. She is a strong advocate of children’s education including their exposure to different countries, cultures, and languages. The plastic surgery tours came about because of the demand for safe, non-invasive, plastic and cosmetic surgery especially for young people.
She is proud to be part of the Parents Everywhere Network and her weekly podcast show call “Family Vacations with Zoe the Travel Genie” delves into the constant changes in the travel industry as well as giving listeners a first hand account of vacation destinations.
